Who is Max Carra
Max Carra was born in Carlos Spegazzini, in the Ezeiza district of Buenos Aires province. According to Filo News, he was just 18 in June 2026. He started on social media with his cover series "Viajemos en el tiempo" (Let's travel in time), which went viral on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube and brought him millions of followers.
He has since recorded with Márama, Carlos Baute, Mau y Ricky, BM and Valentino Merlo. "Buenos Días", his song with Merlo, has millions of plays. His latest single is "Por fin me animo", a more personal track written on the piano at his home. His sound is cumbia with pop and urban touches, made for singing along with friends.
Brisbane: Malibú, Sunday 22 November
- Event: Malibú, Summer Starts Here (UFEEL x Zetta Productions), with Max Carra as special guest
- Where: The Brightside, 27 Warner Street, Fortitude Valley
- Time: from 4pm, outdoor party
- Tickets: through Oztix
The Brightside is a short walk from Fortitude Valley station, so the train is the easy option and saves you looking for parking.
Where to eat nearby: in the Valley itself there is La Arepa Brava for Venezuelan arepas, plus Maizland and Baja Modern Mexican. For an Argentine asado before the party, Pampero is in Woolloongabba.
Perth: Alta Fiesta Vol. 01, Friday 27 November
- Event: Alta Fiesta ft. Max Carra, Vol. 01
- Where: C5, upstairs at Metropolis Fremantle, 58 South Terrace, Fremantle
- Time: 10pm to 3am
- Tickets: on the Metropolis Fremantle website. First release general admission was listed at A$28.90, then A$35.10
From the Perth CBD, the Fremantle line train takes you to Fremantle station. From there it is roughly a 10 to 15 minute walk through town to South Terrace. For the 3am finish, plan a taxi or rideshare home.
Where to eat nearby: Frida Mexicana is steps from the venue and Brazilian Steak House is also close. In South Fremantle there is La Cabaña. For medialunas and empanadas the next morning, The Argentine Bakery is in Maylands.
Gold Coast: Reggaeton Summer Festival XXL, Sunday 29 November
- Event: Reggaeton Summer Festival XXL, second edition, by Alta Fiesta and Aqua
- Where: Miami Marketta, 23 Hillcrest Parade, Miami
- Time: 4pm to 10pm
- Tickets: through Oztix, from A$29 according to musick.com.au
The organisers promise two stages, Latin DJs including Gucho, reggaeton, cumbia and cachengue, food trucks and Max Carra live. They expect it to sell out, so do not leave it to the last minute. The G:link does not reach Miami, so a bus along the Gold Coast Highway or a short rideshare is the practical way in.
Where to eat nearby: Brazilian Grill Bites and SPEC bar & tapas are in Miami. A couple of kilometres up the road in Mermaid Beach, Norté and Sueño Rooftop are good for keeping the night going.
Sydney and Melbourne
While the venues are confirmed, you can start planning. In Sydney, Tuki Bakery in Darlinghurst and El Corte in Darling Harbour are solid Argentine stops. In Melbourne, try Argies Empanadas in Richmond, San Telmo in the CBD and South Connection in North Melbourne.
