Delete your Latinhood account

You can delete your account yourself, at any time, on the website or in the app. It takes effect straight away and can't be undone.

How to delete it

Sign in to Latinhood.
Go to Me → Settings.
Want a copy first? Tap “Download my data”: your profile, saved items, points and posts as one file.
Tap “Delete account”, type DELETE and confirm.

If you pay for a membership

Cancel your membership first, from Me → Manage membership (our payment provider Stripe's billing page). Once it is cancelled you won't be charged again, and you can delete your account straight away. See our refund and cancellation policy for what happens to the current period.

Can't sign in?

Write to us from the Contact page using the email address on your account and choose “Delete my account”. We check the request comes from you and delete the account within 30 days.

What we delete

Your name, email address, phone number, Instagram handle and profile photo.
Your saved places, deals, events and night plans, Passport stamps and points, guide progress and email preferences.
Your sessions: you are signed out on every device.
Your Market listings are taken down and their contact details removed.
If you managed a business page, it stays listed but goes back to unclaimed.
Events you posted lose your contact details and the link to your account; the ones still in review are withdrawn. Events already live stay listed.

What we keep, and why

Payment and subscription records, which Australian tax law requires us to keep (generally for five years). On our side they are no longer linked to your name or email. Stripe keeps its own billing records under its own privacy policy.
Giveaway entry and draw records, so past draws can still be checked.
Usage statistics, unlinked from your account.
Analytics recorded while you were signed in may stay in PostHog, our analytics provider, until we remove them. Ask us through the Contact page and we will.
